Class 20 issues and Heavy Freight:
A Misty Day at Carlisle.
Class 20s, 6s, 68s, 70, 88s
13 November 24
We see the rail head treatment trains, the log train, two Engineer's trains, the twice weekly Empty gypsum working from Kirkby Thore and the odd passenger train.
The highlight is the pair of Class 20s. They had been scheduled to work from Upperby depot to Ayr on a route learning run in the morning but that got cancelled. Instead they ran into Citadel station after turning so that D8107 was facing south. Ironically they had been turned last night after a route learning run to Ayr. Once in A Road there was trouble. After being given the road the driver called the power box and the signals were reset to Danger. I'll leave the rest to the video!
