I love this sound. I am very thankful that I was fortunate enough to grow up with these units. May the scrapped one become reincarnated into fresh new EMU's from their smouldered metal in the future. Thank you 319012, you served us well. This one was the loudest of all 86 units from memory.

Agreed! 012 has the LOUDEST motors of the entire LNWR fleet, if you're either on the same platform at London Euston as it, or the adjacent, you can literally feel the platform vibrate when it departs. However it seems to have disappeared recently, not sure if it's awaiting maintenance or has been scrapped

@@damienmanu117 No need to worry, 319012 is now back in operation on the WCML. I spotted it last week when it was on the 16:24 service. Keep an eye out for it :)

After this weeks class 321 home running exploration imma set the 319s as my monthly retro cruise, they take me back, way back, heading to south east london as a young kid in the early 2000s, im only 25 lol, still though, the connex days, the 700s are great, heck yeah, though don't got the feels that these did 😌🥹
