Love the slight camera wobble there when the two tone sounded! I always liked the sound of the motors on these trains. We have something similar here in Manchester only it's 3 cars and overhead electrics.

Hi do you know what notch drivers use when pulling out of station with that particular class and when they go notch 4 please

@@denbaker7358 depends on the driver really, I do pay attention to it and I’ve heard it from some drivers before. The southeastern policy is Notch 2 until 5mph and then either notch 3 or 4 but it depends on the drivers. Most drivers normally whack it straight into full notch but if the station has a low speed limit then it’ll be a notch 2 departure. Also notch 1 is only used for shunting trains in the depots Notch 1 is rarely used in passenger service

Alfie :-). Great scott :-). Hello there :-). Excellent video of the class 466 and 465 Southeastern service you saw in recent days :-). Lets hope the class 465's and 466's have a reasonably long time of working life left in them as the Southern class 313's are sadly retiring at the end of next month with a farewell tour on the 29th April 2023 which will pretty much conclude and finish off their working days really.
