Located on the branch line to Grain, on the busy Grain Road. This crossing is unique as it still retains manual swing gates, but has four LED warning lights (wigwags) and a single alarm sounding when in operation. The "Dr Syn" Railtour is seen passing this crossing, heading towards Grain's old station, where it would terminate. It was touring the south-east of England via Grain and Dungeness on this day. The tour consists of two Class 66 locomotives, one of which is DB Cargo's Hydro-treated Vegetable oil (HVO) powered locomotive, with a bright green 'Climate Hero' livery. I saw the tour at Wybourne crossing on its departure from Grain.
