My nephew is a serious baseball prospect. I am sending him this video of J Lawrence with the little guy because this is how we need athletes to be. They are role models to children whether or not they want to be. The little ones are always watching. I never even knew who Jett was until I started watching AJs videos. Now I’m a big fan.

Stardom? Lmao I’m starting to realize all of y’all think the same lol. Brian Deegan thinks he’s one of the most important athletes and like super cross was a big deal in history lol. It’s only a big deal to people in it. People that don’t know Moto , don’t ever hear of it. I’m sorry but it isn’t anywhere near the level of basketball or sports like that 😂. Nobody outside supercross knows who he is.

How Jett talked to the kid, that I assume was being hard on himself, was absolutely golden! That segment should be required watching by every parent of any kid racing! I’m not much of a “Fan” person. I just enjoy good racing. Jett earned himself a “Fan” due to his approach in handling this situation! Wise beyond his years! Props to the Lawrence parents for raising a fine young man!

Perception is everything when you’re trying to progress. Shifting your inner voice from something is challenging/scary to telling yourself that ruts (for example) are fun really helps overcome the fear of doing something for the first time. Your perspective goes from not thinking about casing a double to knowing how much damn fun its going to be hitting that double in 4th wide. Your confidence will grow exponentially when you’re not constantly worrying about falling
