Great content. I hate ruts so, a rutted jump face for me is a nightmare. Way to commit Cam. Impressive run through the rollers too. Cam’s improvement on the bike is proof AJ’s technique works.

Camera man always survive, good you send it trough those ruts. Great progress! I just started riding again since 2007. I jumped some good ones, but ive lost so much technique im not confident on jumps longer than 5m-8m ( small tabletops ). Working hard on my body position rightnow and have some cornerspeed. So fun to watch camera guys progress. It makes me feel confident i can come back to a nice riding pace again, ”im over 40 years old know”. Psoriasis Athritis everywere and herniated disc at three places, knees all teard up. But the One thing 2024 did that made me feel some hope in my life again. I took out my 450sxf 2006 with 17 hours on the clock. Made it as new again and rides it once again. If i just can bare out for 20 minutes again, clearing those jumps though im stuffed with painkillers… Man, i sure would cry and feel life worth the pain. My son 13, just got his first 85cc and im so glad to see him taking my advice and he is watchinh AJ’s videos to get better and better. No rush, just practise on that body position and progress happends. Awsome content AJ, you have no idea what this means to me and my boy! Proudest dad in the world. ❤

i have so much fear in rutted face jump like these i dont know why and my corners are terrible also... i have plenty good techniques but in corner and rutted face jump i suck i wish i could become better, starting to get frustrating after 40 hours of practice this summer and stil sucking at these lol

Love it. & is D class even a thing where everybody else is? No hate coms on Cam but C class here in NorCal seems significantly faster than that.
@slayerfan209 Жыл бұрын
No kidding. I raced the beginner class and would rarely win any races even though I'm not super slow and I hit almost every jump on most local tracks. Some I don't send to the far landing when there are multiple, but I hit every table top, ever double, and a few of the triples depending on the jump. So many sandbaggers, it's ridiculous. Everyone wants those wins and the championship instead of riding the class they should be in. The beginner class should t have people scrubbing and launching the mega gaps on the g Arline jumps. Novice races are out there scrubbing like crazy and sending even the straight booters.
@straighttimestirrups Жыл бұрын
D Class should be a true beginner class with no clearing of Table Tops, C Class should be no clearing Doubles, B/Intermediate Class and above should be a Jump what you want class! There are a few reasons racing has diminished in the last 20 years and that’s “D-Beginners” sandbagging the Hell out of the races! True D-Beginners won’t even try racing seeing the Sandbaggers jump stuff when they should be moved up to the B-Intermediate Class!
@BikesandBlickeys Жыл бұрын
@@straighttimestirrups yup where I’m at top 10 in D class are jumping everything and even throwing some whips. Everyone in C class is jumping everything, scrubbing & whipping ect… I’m about mid pack C class. The leaders in C class can practically drag handlebars through the right rut though it’s crazy. I think a lot has to do with the ama events. You look at some of these amateur nationals and the 250B kids are faster than alot of pros. Everybody is watching that and judging themselves to that.
@straighttimestirrups Жыл бұрын
@@BikesandBlickeys 100% and that is what is going to eventually kill off the sport! I constantly see D & C Riders doing jumps Pros of the 80’s wouldn’t even do!

Hey AJ, you think you can do a video on how to correct the bike when you get bucked sideways?
@UncleSarkis Жыл бұрын
Good one.
@MiikeyLawless Жыл бұрын
What not to do is tense up and get stiff. The bike is out of shape and you have to be athletic enough and confident enough to put yourself in the right spot to help the bike sort itself out. It's one of those things that nothing but seat time will help with. It's also probably one of the hardest skills because it's psychologically counterintuitive lol
@yukonjon5964 Жыл бұрын
Ryan Hughes and AJ have led the field on training how to ride heels down, legs straight, seat way back, chest low with head over the bars (watch Jett)... by nature this technique does allow the bike to swap under you and still come back into shape. i suggest watching a bunch of their stuff on this and i'm sure it will help with your topic.
