So I have been getting inquiries on showing the restorations of my Beetles in a montage pictorial format. As you know I take close to 800-1000 photos of my restorations, and you can follow the restorations on my website and click through each of the Bugs photo gallerys. NO PROBLEM.... You always can fix that bug!!!!! Love to watch beetle bugs on video even I’m 72. I miss my 1965 as I bought it for $1000 when I was 18. Sad but good memory.

If I were to throw caution to the wind and want to restore a bug (or maybe a Type 3) to be a daily driver, THIS is the color I'd paint it. The color combo on this car just looks fantastic. Thanks for posting this BTW. How long does it take to restore a car like this start to finish?

most people say that but can't take care of the car. I have one, nobody will give me good money for it I'm sure so I just keep it. a modern any car is like a luxury car compared to these too btw. most of you folk are better off buying the vw new beetle. better creature comfort, automatic transmission, a/c and heat among other things.

Gosh .... this is years later but I'm wondering why not? does this mean original color isn't as important ? I have a 72 guia not original color, thought it worth less ?

@@ignaciozermeno2278 vws are funny. as long as it has a killer color combination, the car will sell very well. Many purest want to see true colors from originality, but some of those true colors were not the greatest colors back in the day and even now. So regardless they will not sell as high as a really nice-looking bug.
