What's making this so mystical is that he doesn't stop playing the bass organ while talking. That really builds up the atmosphere beside his beautiful insight informations. What a great dude. RIP

The Doors live at Danbury Connecticut High School is amazing theater work. It's a hard listen but you can hear the dark in Jim Morrison. Haunting. They did it all in front of students and the public at Danbury. The best show I ever came across on.

See that’s what you would want in a band, improvisation live on stage which can control your audience. That’s when you know you got a band for ages. I mean they created “The End” live on stage, that’s beauty, creating before your very audience

0:56 - 1:40: I want this played at my funeral as I am being descended into the ground, six feet under. I'm old enough to understand Ray's music as I am an old soul now at 55. "As I pass from the gates of the earth and being led to my final destination, be it the Kingdom of God and Christ, or the deepest depths of the fiery abyss of Satan...let it be known I lived my life as life guided me. I only hope that either way I am blessed or face my demise. There is no other way to change my final fate now." - Albert Owen, August 27, 2021

Cuz it's bold n controversial, for instance why do people get MORE shocked by the matriphile angle than the PATRICIDE angle? Sounds like the same kind of people who would have young guys bomb defenseless people in jet planes but won't allow those guys to write f*** on their airplane because "it's obscene"

It’s funny, when we think of the Doors, we think of Jim’s poetically toned voice. But in reality, that keyboard Ray played is the most iconically claimed sound in musical history. You know the Beatles lyrics, you hear Jaggers voice, but when you hear that keyboard… that’s the Doors, man. I wish I could’ve experienced it all as it happened. Reading it from articles and books doesn’t do it for me anymore.
