Classic American Pancakes

Recipe about 12 pancakes with a diameter of 10 cm.

Ingredients:
2 eggs
50g (1.8 oz) sugar --- 1/4 cups
50g (1.8 oz) butter --- 1/4 cups
250ml (8.5 fl oz) milk --- 1 cups
200g (7 oz) wheat flour --- 1 2/3 cups
15g (0.5 oz) baking powder --- 3 tsp
10g (2 tsp) vanilla sugar
2.5g (1/2 tsp) salt

Nuances
Milk and eggs should be at room temperature.
Eggs with sugar need to be whipped until the sugar is completely dissolved, the mass should lighten and increase in volume.
Butter should be melted in a water bath, in a microwave or in a frying pan, but the fire should be small, so that the oil does not burn.
To knead the dough can use a mixer, blender or whisk.
It is necessary to fry pancakes on a well heated pan without adding oil!
When frying on the pancakes bubbles appear, this means the dough is done correctly.
If desired, you can add wild berries to the dough.
Serve with honey, condensed milk or maple syrup.

I didn’t understand one thing tho. When she is mixing the flour, the baking powder and the vanilla sugar in another bowl. Then she put it in the other bowl. But in the video she doesn’t put it all so… do I have to put it all or just the amount that she put

Amazing pancakes. I tried it with coconut oil instead of butter. Also used yogurt and water instead of milk, cuz I have lactose intolerance. You can use stevia drops instead of sugar for healthier results. 👌

I’m from England. Great recipe. First time I tried it, the baking powder taste was too overpowering- so I tweaked recipe and instead of the recommended 15g of baking powder - I put 10g. MUCH better. Well done though. Best recipe I’ve ever come across for American pancakes 👏

Thank you very much, this recipe is just amazing one. The result of cooking is a definitely true pancake - the dessert with a sponge cake flavour. Many techniques from non-english-speaking internet are ridiculous because the final output is very differ from traditional American meal in not a good way.
