How to make PERFECT CHURROS with Hot Chocolate

This is my favorite Churros recipe. Never again will you take a second look at old reheated, frozen and refried churros sitting there at the heat lamp. The best Churros are the ones made from scratch and if you get the chance to eat the straight out of the fryer, you most likely will fall in love with it. I will now show you my favorite classic recipe, it is made with common pantry ingredients and its easy to make. In my opinion, this ratio gives you the perfect taste and texture. You will get beautiful golden crispy Churros!
CHURROS
Makes 12 churros
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup water (240ml)
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter (28g)
- 1 tablespoon sugar (13g)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
- 1 large egg (50g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil for frying
Cinnamon Sugar:
- 1/2 cup sugar (100g)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Chocolate Dipping Sauce:
- 3 oz bittersweet chocolate (85g)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (120g)

I tried these today with my mom and sister and it was delicious! The churros were nice and crunchy on the outside, but a little soft on the inside! The cinnamon-sugar mix really gives it that extra flavor boost. Coming from a guy who's never made churros before, this tutorial is simple, easy, and the churros taste like heaven! Great video!

I tried the recipe and here's a few I would make differently, First, sift the flour. Mine came out with bubbles of flour and it was hard to break down each of them but there's a few only left when I added the egg. Second, I would cook the churros longer than I think maybe about 2 minutes to really get it crispy cause for me even if the churros looked golden brown it wasn't and it turned soggy faster than when I left it for 2 minutes more. Third, a bigger tip than I thought. The tip I used seemed big but was actually really small and it was hard to push the dough out. :> that's all. Just a few I would make differently and for people to consider. :>>> it was really good tho even with the little flour left.

Hello! I would love to see you try the "Burger King Hot Cinnamon Brownie." I only had it a few times some years ago until it got discontinued. It's hands down the best dessert I've ever had. It should be fluffy with some type of yellowish creamy cinnamon filling inside. Maybe it was mixed with melted white chocolate? There are a few pictures online to see what it's supposed to look like.
