Classic BMW Blower Motor Repair and Install || E28 535is M30

Just a quick Overview of what it takes to diagnose and replace a hot air motor blower in my 1988 BMW 535is. Will work for any BMW made between 1979 to 1990.
Although I ended up replacing my Blower motor I would recommend everyone to clean up their original Blower before buying replacement parts. But in my case the Bearing on the motor were extremely worn, causing the machine gun like noise. And don't worry I went back and reinstalled the cage covers.

Nice job!! Can I just ask you something? I'm trying to restore my wiper motor but I need to check how it is in the inside (inside the black cover) to check how the bushes sre set. Can you send me some photos about that? Mine is an e28 1984

Did you put back the black plastic covers that go over the hamster wheels or just left the hamster wheels open?

Thanks for the video. By the way you were working on the heater blower. Is there AC blower? Is that located under center console?

There sure is theirs two blower fans. Check out my heater valve video, I go into a little more detail in that video about the 2nd one I believe

Just done installing blower works great but no air out of vents. However, when AC is on works fine. Any ideas? Thanks

Theirs 3 vent switches under the radio. Make sure the middle vent switch is all the way closed. Report back if that worked!

​@@MissionmadeAirsofthi there, well if you open the center vent switch it does blow air now. Not strong though. Of course I cleaned and lubed it. Again with AC switch on it's powerful. Thanks again
