I'm 52 years old and Rich Gaspari was the only guy who put any pressure on Lee Haney he's one of my favorites

Richie is one of the greatest warriors ever, he did the most with the least.

Back in the late 1980's I wrote Rich Gaspari a letter on how to up his intensity and focus in reference to a training camp similar to a boxer when he fights for the world championship title. Of course not boxing, but the isolation and intensity driven mentality. This is what Dorian Yates would do during his reign which came after the fact. This was when he was challenging Haney for his title. A few months later in Flex Magazine he referred to what I wrote in his letter. I knew then he'd read my letter. I was shocked but it made me realize he does read his fans letters. It's good to see he still trains and so do I. I've been training now for 38 years come January 2018. I don't have genetics to be a bodybuilder let alone a powerlifter. However, I just love to train. I noticed how he backed off on his intensity and sets, so did I. This is a sign of maturity because it's unhealthy to train with utmost intensity every single time. Especially when your 50 years old like me. Anyway, it's good to see he is still an iron warrior being true to his calling which shows it was always a thing of passion. Some retired pro bodybuilders once they retire, never pick up a weight again which shows they were never in it for the pure passion of the thing. These pro bodybulders picked up the weights and discovered they were genetic freaks so they wound up becoming pro bodybuilders. Once their career was done they were done with the weights. They didn't have the passion. I wish you all the success Rich Gaspari.

You can’t blame him trying to make a living in Bodybuilding after competition, but you are right, it’s deceiving to imply Supplements will make any difference, when you’ve been juicing your whole life.

@@mattcox3373 He doesn't need to say anything. It's implied. This dishonest shit has been going on for decades! I like Rich and actually use Gaspari supplements, but the supplement industry uses dishonest techniques to sell their wares, implying you could get the type of gains that are impossible without added Testosterone...then getting some professional bodybuilder to endorse them. Gaspari is a little different, he seems honest...but it's the same old story. Just be honest!

he never claimed to be natural - anyone with half a brain cell can see these bodies were built with chemical assistance. i trained natty for 15 years, and the last 2 years with gear... the difference is remarkable
