It's a shame that a sport that is supposed to be healthy,...has become so deadly... because of the availably of drugs and the idea that this is the only way to build some muscle....even Dorian Yates said that no-- one that is not competing should take steroids...and even now so many are using TRT...(when there are many dangers taking any drug ..even under a doctor's care)...now you have over 50 year olds ,. thinking that drugs are healthy and OK when lifting weights.... it's disgraceful how many people are weak minded ,gullible,and brainwashed by a U-Tube society into this state of mind.There are people on PEDs in the local gyms that are not even lifting weights correctly...and are blowing up like a side of beef ..but look water bloated and have chicken legs.and crab arms ...what ever happened to symmetry,definition,and living a healthy..longer life

Modern bodybuilding is dead! The Golden Era and a few years after were the absolute best times to be involved in the sport. Back then the guys took drugs of course but along with that they relied on their hard work and genetics to make them champions, IF they had the genetics to be champions. Now days hard work HAS been replaced with rampant drug use and the sport of bodybuilding has been completely bastardized and it's turned into a clown show! Pro cards are being handed out like candy and the sport is officially a joke!

Finally at 54 I did get a injury from lifting heavy squats and I am regenerating my disc back with peptides, Dr told me I am done and stop training like a 20 year old before the rest of you breaks down after a recent MRI he can't believe I am regenerating my disc and never seen anyone do that ever, My testosterone has increased my bone density, peptides are rebuilding my disc and I am in better shape than guys half my age . I will tell you my friends that don't lift have all kinds of health problems and they all look old for their age so lifting has made me younger as well as proper diet and I still have young women that want to hook up and I am old enough to be their dad. I would love to hear the OGs talk about caffeine/stimulants and their role in the industry and culture of bodybuilding and training. Were there stimulant supplements used 20-30 years ago by the goats? When did these stimulant products start entering into the bodybuilder world and what are the consequences? How much stimulant products do the OGs use/ recommended?
@quantumfx2677 Жыл бұрын
Yes, we had stimulants in the 80s and the big one we used was ephredra that they made illegal and it was awesome and powerful, we didn't have internet where info was at our finger tips like today. Infact we were really the beginning guenipigs and I honestly believe raw ephredra allowed us to do the most intense workouts and spot on focus. Infact the pre-work out drink we had was rip force and ultimate orange developed my Dan Dushane our steroid guru which also contained caffeine and ephredra and a few other things which made you unstoppable.

I know theres alot of talk about whether Mike is natty or not. But I think this dude is alot like Arnold. These guys train like animals and are disciplined. Arnold had a physique but despite what he was or wasnt doing his body didnt look like he was abusing steroids. Only that dude knows if he was using them. You can just tell by these dudes hair and complexion. Guys that abuse typically have thinning hair, terrible skin, and stretch marks from trying to utilize drugs over years of hard work, diet and training. If they are utilizing PEDs these guys are perfect examples that the years of hard work have been the priority over abusing the hell out of steroids

I don't think there's anyone that can deny the hard work, discipline, sick obsession of your personas. However and this is when it comes interesting, respectfully, I think any of you guys that look like that are or have been on steroids perhaps abusing cocktails of steroids. I am not judging I am just enforcing you guys to tell the truth about what it takes to get a physique like that and risks and dangers to be on treatments and diet habits. Let's keep it mind that people, kids are getting sick and dying because of this. I think it is pretty clear to anybody with a reasonable common sense that how you guys look, intensity, strength and everything is not natural and only few want to talk about it. Most of you guys get offended and hide the truth. You must agree that the topic is VERY interesting and a lot of value can come out of these discussions in order to clear the air and educate people.

“So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ-that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life-even though invisible to spectators-is with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you’ll show up, too-the real you, the glorious you. Meanwhile, be content with obscurity, like Christ. And that means killing off everything connected with that way of death: sexual promiscuity, impurity, lust, doing whatever you feel like whenever you feel like it, and grabbing whatever attracts your fancy. That’s a life shaped by things and feelings instead of by God. It’s because of this kind of thing that God is about to explode in anger. It wasn’t long ago that you were doing all that stuff and not knowing any better. But you know better now, so make sure it’s all gone for good: bad temper, irritability, meanness, profanity, dirty talk. Don’t lie to one another. You’re done with that old life. It’s like a filthy set of ill-fitting clothes you’ve stripped off and put in the fire. Now you’re dressed in a new wardrobe. Every item of your new way of life is custom-made by the Creator, with his label on it. All the old fashions are now obsolete. Words like Jewish and non-Jewish, religious and irreligious, insider and outsider, uncivilized and uncouth, slave and free, mean nothing. From now on everyone is defined by Christ, everyone is included in Christ. So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it. Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ-the Message-have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out to God! Let every detail in your lives-words, actions, whatever-be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. * * * Wives, understand and support your husbands by submitting to them in ways that honor the Master. Husbands, go all out in love for your wives. Don’t take advantage of them. Children, do what your parents tell you. This delights the Master no end. Parents, don’t come down too hard on your children or you’ll crush their spirits. Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters. And don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover up bad work.” Colossians 3:1-25 MSG
