I love folktale horror. It's a huge reservoir of almost untapped, and quickly vanishing, material that really should be more widespread in the horror community, and preserved.

If you suspect that a women in your village is a skinwalker, watch her when she goes to urinate. If she stands and pees like a man instead of squating, then she has turned into a skinwalker. Lol i heard that one as a kid from a 90 year old tribal elder woman and I thought it was very funny.

I love pre 20th century accounts of weird and mysterious things, I feel like back then a lot of weird things were happening more so with all the isolation and open country back then. Lately I’ve been trying to find accounts of strange happenings from the explorers in the 16th & 17th Century. Keep up all the great work friend, your videos are tremendous and the production is spot on! Hell all your videos are nothing short of being high tier documentaries. ✌🏼

The Tall Deer accounts are very interesting in their parallels to the Wendigo. What if deer also experience famine and do cannibalism? And they become Tall Deer that can eat you and are continually ravenous for entrails and brains. These things grow out of control with all that protein.

I thought Wendigos had a neat aesthetic, as an artist. I joked about it “being my spirit animal”. Then, I found an image, from my security camera, that has a grainy depiction of a Wendigo,, within the “noise” of the photo.(among some other creepy things). I’m educated, 48 of age, and I know what parodalia is.(not sure if I spelled that right). But, you can’t explain why I find the specifics, I find in photos. My mother, also has weird phenomena, that happen in her photos/video from time to time. We are both sensitive, as well. This may explain some aspects to our happenings.

Disturbing......though such behaviour is abhorrent, i find it difficult to condemn those who have done so, as who really knows how they would behave/act when faced with a similar situation of starvation unto death......there's truth in the words "needs must when the devil drives".

I spoke to a Cree man today about this. It's not cannibalism. It's a representation of the evil and bad things we all posesse. Therefore if encounter one It's the devil in the flesh. But it's your bad deeds and feelings causing it to manifest before you. If you see one you will cry but then become a better person because you witnessed the evil within yourself
