I once had a sandblaster warp the hell out of my doors and quarter panels. Lesson learned! Great call just having him do the undercarriage

SPI epoxy is the best kept secret for the home DIYer. I've used it a couple times. Getting ready to spray some more on my 68' Newport. Just got it back from the shop for some brake work that I was way in over my head. Awesome work and dig the music, content and simplicity. Keep going! Awesome work gente!

My buddybtold me about spi about 8 yrs ago and i love it. It's very simple and user friendly. I preach about it all the time. The channels video editor (Mrs lonestar) threw the mariachi in there for fun. Glad you liked it. Stay tuned for more work

Aviation Paint sripper is the strongest do a pannel at a time wipe down with distiled water helps slow the flash rust .

Last time I bought it , it was very watered down and didn't work like the stuff 20 yrs ago ...

@@lonestarlows that is correct the aviation paint stripper 20 years ago would strip urethane and just about any epoxy paint i always use etching primer under epoxy primer i like to over kill every thing i do to avoid come backs and any bad reaction so i even clean the bare metal with metal prep, and i always use disteled water on a good spray bottle do like a square foot a time when doing the metal prep other wise you will get a build up white film and try and ither spray your etching primer or epoxy as soon as you can and choose an apropreate teamperature and humidity is to be taken into consideration for those of you that are new to auto body and paint. Indoors and or summer days under a shade are the best dsys to work on bare metal preping and primering.

@@josedelao9124 thanks. I've personally never used etching primer. I was taught to 80 grit bare metal, clean, and straight to epoxy. What is the benefit of etching primer?

As my Son would say "Don't let your Brain get in the way" and he is a ME, EE and CE Sand Blasters want to move fast and will end up warping the panels for you............... The people who complain and point out the little holes on the bottom of the floor pan have never done any kind of repair like that. Everything looks excellent and your Son looks like he is getting the hand of that spray gun for sure.
