Before getting caught offside, the play from Jimmy Johnstone as he dribbled and moved between those Hibs players was just unbelievable. What a joy it must have been too watch the Glasgow Celtic during that period. Big thanks to Celtic 📺 for uploading these clips.

I was at this game. Every Celtic Hibs final I attended in those days Celtic won. The only two finals I did not attend - the Drybrough Cup and the 1972 League Cup because it clashed with my 18th birthday celebrations - Hibs won.

Yes nice sunny day the league Cup final was usually played in October before the turn off the year but for some reason this was played later in the year

I was at the Scottish cup in 67 68 dunfermline knocked celts out in in the early round 0 2 they went onto win it beating hearts 3 1 in the final hearts knocked rangers out in the quartre final beat them 1 0 after a 1 1 draw at ibrox was at the 19 70 Scottish cup final aberdeen beat celts 3 1 4 days later celts smacked Leeds in the european cup semi 136 000 there

Was at this won the treble won this 6 2 beat hibs 6 1 in the Scottish cup final 19 61 and 6 3 in 74 dixie hatrick and Joe harper hatrick for hibs was also at the 19 72 league final that was hibs day 2 1 and seen hibs beat celts in 2 dryborough cup finals 5 3 and 1 0
