Meaty scenes for Deirdre, but tough and harrowing for Anne to play, so fair play to her considering she was suffering with depression at the time from what I've read. Remember when Deirdre was freed, she told solicitor Frankie that she hoped she never bumped into Veitch in the supermarket or crossing the road. Would have made a great scene if she had though. RIP Anne x

When Jackie was first introduced she was quite similar to Abi, rough round the edges but generally a good person, when they brought her back a few years later they just turned her into a caricature

At first I thought Tyrone Dobbs would be a bad person like his mum but he turned out to be a down to earth lad from working in the garage despite Kevin doing it with his wife Molly but they forgave each other and they both moved on I like Tyrone he would be ideal for a night out along with Kirk and Steve but this was the start of the amazing Tyrone Dobbs a true legend on the street wjo even Dev said he is a legend on the cobbles but thanks to Jack & Vera he became a lovely loyal man

She didn't know the extent of the injustice that had been done to Deirdre and how traumatised she was. Her opinion was that Deirdre thought she was above everyone inside and the place and the people including the staff were beneath her. She was basically a bully who knew that Deirdre had no experience of prison culture and took full advantage.
