Your hair is probably frizzy because it's a medium or coarse hair type, definitely recommend watching blowout professor he has some great videos

Use hair serum or light drops of hair oil before the iron. I suggest this technique from the Japanese hair dressers and Japanese beauty bloggers but the difference is they are normally apply it in thicker coating.

GHD loves to suggest people brushing out the curls too early. They have been doing like these for decad, it's their signature style already.😂
