I have a T3 straightener that i purchase a few years ago from TJ Maxx and i love it... been lasting me for awhile now. So glad i bought it. I use to go through straighter tools a lot from when i purchase them through drug stores. I KNOW I say it in every single video but you are seriously so talented, and to this day I’m so bummed I moved from San Francisco to Dallas Texas! I curl my hair all wrong!!! This is really helpful because sometimes when I want to curl my hair, I maybe washed it the day before and it's been slept on or been in a ponytail. Nice to see the method for smoothing it at the roots. Also it's helpful to see how to hold the curling iron. Sometimes I have trouble with the second side of hair like you mentioned. I LOVE my T3.. But want a smaller barrel.. Although I LOVE the look I get from it. I have bleached damaged hair and since getting this iron, and using ONLY redkin shampoo and conditioner the shine in my hair has increased dramatically.

Thank you so much for this video! My curling iron is 1.25 inch and it has the clamp to hold the hair. I am very new to curling iron usage. I read from T3, not to use any hair products before you use the iron. What is your take on that? From another KZbinr, she said if you already have product on your hair, and use the curling or flat iron, you are baking the product onto your hair and damaging the hair. What is your take on that?
