Sandra was actually a brilliant comedic writer in her day......one of the original sketch writers and actors on the Richard Pryor show in the late 70's. My feeling is: If someone of Richard's stature thought enough of this woman to include her in his career......her talent speaks for itself.

Thank you for highlighting this (I'd no idea she worked for/with Pryor).

All she does is curse and name drop. She hasn't come up with anything close to funny

She’s so innately stylish. She just has it.

We are allowed to exist in her universe....Sandra is the glue that reminds us to be spontaneous...to enjoy life...do what we really want to do...to simutaneously unhinged and emotionally vulnerable...A bright burning star...

A memorable early film role was in Scorsese's "King of Comedy". She improvised much of her scene with a kidnaped Jerry Lewis, it's first-class cinema.

this second interview of bernhard compared to the hilarious '85 one shows: people like this have to be entertaining and fun and wild and unexpected (like 1985 interview) bc as shown in this interview, once they actually get talking serious u see they are not only boring but unlikeable unintelligent, and just not good people
