@@SymonnePat Age of consent for 16 and under vary for sure. In some states, the age of consent is 16, but there are sub laws to it. Like in Utah, you can legally consent at 14 as long as the person is no more than 4 years older than the 14 yr old. But an age gap like this with a 16 year old? I couldn't do it. And that's coming from a woman who met her soul mate with a 20 yr age gap... But I was _32_ when we met and he was 52. Strange to some? Maybe. But I was a fully grown adult. I would never at 28 years old sleep with a _child._ Age of consent or not. But, I'm also one of those people who are slightly hypocritical when it comes to younger women and older men. Entirely depends on the age of both, the situation in which it happened, and is there a power difference. Most people assume because my sweetheart was 20 yrs my senior he was somehow in a position of power. Depends on the person's maturity all around in all aspects. So basically... I believe each case is it's own unique case in which I'm not to judge. Just something I wouldn't do myself is all. 🤷‍♀️

As a mother and adult woman it disgusts me more with much older women with younger men. In this case a child. So, like I said, I'm a bit hypocritical. But when I had my 20 yr age gap we were both grown adults well beyond 25. When our prefrontal cortex is beyond fully developed. I have less of a hard time with that. A child is a child. But there are many cases that need to be looked at individually. Some young women and men are way more mature than their same age peers. I was one of those and so is my kiddo.
