Turns out she was bipolar, and made my life a living hell. She was super insecure, she called me at school, at work, told our business to anyone who would listen, got mad if people told her they wasn’t interested in our lives that way, and said they were on “my side”. I never saw that side of her when we were dating, mainly because we didn’t live together. Unlike the people of today, I had no intentions of putting up with that, and after trying for a year and a half to “fix” the problem, I got a divorce. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after our divorce. So yeah people can “change” after marriage, but she was bipolar from the start.
