Josh and Jessica were married on May 20 of this year. Although they have barely been married 3 weeks, they are already wondering if they got married for the wrong reasons. They say they felt a lot of pressure from their families, friends, and God to get married because they had a child already with another one on the way. However, they’re having some issues and wondering if they are going to be able to make it as a couple.

@@itstadiwa284 we all have our issues and unfortunately some are deeper and more difficult to live healthily with or to take control of. The fact that you're so self-aware and working on yourself means you're on the right track, and I wish all the best. Thank you for sharing - I have clinical depression which results in terribly aggressive breakdowns when I can't control things around me and to know that someone is bettering themself and is doing so so humbly is inspiring. Y'all this is my second time seeing her tear up. The other time was shortly after her mom passed away and one of the litigants had said something about their mom and she was so touched that she excused herself from the bench and they took a short recess so she could get herself together. Both had me in tears, because my mom is deceased and my dad died May 2019.

I never saw Judge Lynn cry during an episode as she did today. This hearing really hit home to her and I hope this man will listen to her advice so that his kids aren't crying years down the road when they think about life with him. He had a terrible upbringing with his dad and really needs counseling to learn how to deal with situations a different way than he currently does before he loses his wife and children. Judge Lynn isn't afraid to speak from the heart and share pieces of her life which makes this show different from other court shows.

He is drowning in his past issues and his anger issues and it comes up every time they get in an argument whether it’s over money or a pen being out of place. He needs counseling and they need couples counseling. The ‘appreciation’ he’s looking for is just validation that he’s not getting from her bc he’s a parent who is 50% responsible for their kids. You don’t get a pat on the back for shit you should already be doing.

Man. I have tears in my eyes. This hits so close to home. My father was the exact same. A GOOD MAN... with episodes of psychosis. As a single mother with phobias and OCD, I have those same rage issues. It's hard as hell to cope with. But at the end of the day, I always apologize, explain my outburst, and I repay in kindness. It is a struggle, but while you can not change the phobias nor OCD, you can work on and change your responses by "fake it till you make it". A character flaw is habit, habit is repetition, and repetition can be altered by habit. ❤
@angelastone4806
@angelastone4806 2 жыл бұрын
Do you mean psychosis or phobias? Phobias are an intense fear of some thing & they absolutely would NOT cause any sort of rage. If triggered by a phobia it would cause anxiety, fear and panic but highly unlikely to cause rage… Also while I’m glad that you are able to acknowledge & own your issues, apologizing & attempting to explain away an outburst doesn’t negate the fact that it happened and that it most likely caused hurt/emotional trauma to other people. As a child I grew up with severe anger issues and was diagnosed with bipolar once I was 17, are used to have extremely bad manic rage episodes to the point where I felt like I didn’t fit in my skin because I was so angry. I said and did things to people I care about that to this day have a lasting affect on the way they view me and the relationships that we have. Please do not attempt to explain your outburst because no matter how good your intentions are in and it always just comes across as a copout. See a doctor and get help, if you need to be medicated for a while until you can find other coping mechanisms do it. I still go through bouts of manic episodes but because I’ve been able to learn what triggers me and what is the warning signs are that I’m about to go into a fit of rage I’m able to avoid it for the most part in my life has been so much better because of it. I hope you get the help you need and have a good life.

@@angelastone4806 I'm so glad you asked. My father was diagnosed bipolar so he did have psychosis. He died of a massive heart attack. I have had phobias since I was a child. If a phobia is right in your face and you feel trapped, the anxiety can indeed lead to an anger filled outburst. But God has been on my side. I was also diagnosed Bipolar. A misdiagnoses. I actually have lyme disease and bartonella. Two intracellular bacterias that are wide spread and not many people know of bartonella. It mimics bipolar to a T while also building tumors within the body and attacking the heart. Lyme effects the neurological just as bartonella does. I have gotten ahold of my anger. I do have anger issues when I have flareups bc my brain swells. Luckily, I now study microbiology amongst other subjects that cross paths. I will start college soon. I plan to bring light to the fact that bartonella is VERY wide spread. My psychiatrist (who is taking the label of bipolar off my records) agrees that people should be tested for these intracellular bacterias before being diagnosed with a mental disorder. Heal the body, heal the mind. I wish I had figured this out sooner. I believe my father had the same bacteria. Maybe I could have saved him. Instead, I intend to save others. With that being said, my children understand this. I teach them everything I learn. And I will ALWAYS take responsibility for any outbursts I ever have in front of them. As a parent, it is my job to teach them accountability and responsibility for their actions. If I cannot hold myself accountable, how will they learn to do so? I do not sugar coat. It is what it is. If I am wrong, I will admit that and apologize along with explaining what I did wrong. They are wonderful children who are growing up in a healthy home. No one is perfect. Also, if you have any stomach issues, memory loss, brain fog, rages, extreme anxiety.... I would ask for a test to see if you have bartonella. 95% of all wild rabbits carry this disease along with almost all outdoor cats. It effects people in two ways, it either comes as cat scratch fever where the person is extremely sick or it lives within the body, slowly deteriorating health mentally and physically. It mimics bipolar disorder. I wish the best for you and yours. God bless.

Having lived with my father who flares up on the tiniest, most irrelevant things and has such overwhelmingly disproportionate responses that it would have been laughable if it weren't so hurtful, I can totally understand why the judge teared up. My father is a good man and I love him to death but it's very hard to live with such people. You live a life walking on eggshells and worrying when the next violent outburst is going to come and it's emotionally and physically exhausting.

The emotion behind the story Judge Lynn told about her father has me literally with my mouth open, speechless, and emotional, too. She has such a way with words. To know that’s how she grew up, and then cried about how she felt. Damn, my heart strings are being cut. Tears rolling. Feeling the feels. Sheesh. I hope this has helped this couple.

I got so emotional seeing her speak of her father. Brought back my own memories of my father who I adore so well. Judge Lynn Toler is an amazing woman and I am sad to see her leave Divorce Court. I believe she is a very knowledgeable and respectable woman. I believe in every word she speaks as if I am her own child. I dont know her but i damn sure love her man.

I watched a synapses of Buchanan vs Buchanan on IG and came straight to YT. JudgeLynn is a phenomenal woman. I started to cry when she gave a brief testimony of her growing up with her psychotic father. You can tell that she truly loved him. I pray Josh listened to her and took her advise. This marriage is reparable and can be saved. This couple, despite their quirky way of what they love about each other...Truly love each other.

May God put me on the right path so that I may add unto others. So special. I’m grateful for what I just saw… rewound sooo many times.

Judge Toler.....that was excellent advise. He definitely need counseling to deal with his anger issues which I believe came from his childhood. I really hope he gets the counseling he needs to help himself. It's great that he has found a great supportive wife. She may need some counseling too. Thanks Judge Toler for sharing this situation....great learning point for others. You are such a wise, understanding & great woman....God bless you. Happy New Year!

One of the best episodes. I can relate to that whole story. Cos I was raised on the streets with friends and naturally developed a personality of expecting to be shown appreciation and respect. I also can't stand disorder. I'm glad my wife has had the patience all these 13 years of our relationship...Good luck to that couple

I think he should just work on his anger. He's a great person but he can do better. He need to understand "IS THIS THAT SERIOUS TO BE THIS MAD?" I hate to say this... If he don't get it together. He's going to hurt his kids because they done something to upset him. Divorce is not an option. Learning to control the anger man.

If the judge's story don't change this man's perspective, I don't know what on earth will. Hearing the judge's voice get all shaky as she gave her story about her dad, and how this dude is about to shape out like her dad, that alone ought to have shaken him into the reality of how much he was hurting his woman. Hoping he really changed tho...

She fell in love with his excitement, but she also has to deal with his brokenness, which could be mental illness. It takes a special person to go the distance because that could be her second and third job if it’s passed on to the kids. Pray for all of them!
