Classic Doctor Smith. The show was almost about the character with the acception of Will and the Robot. 'Pretty Hansom Dr. Smith'. Says the Girl From The Green Dimension'.The other cast was almost lost at times. All loved as always. RIP for those passed.Live long Lost In Space.👍

I think one of the funniest Dr.Smith lines of all was in the Season 3 episode "Space Destructors" where he creates an army of cyborgs, all of which look exactly like him. After his diabolical scheme is crushed, he says in a humbled and sorrowful sort of way, "What a frightful mess I've made of things. And all I wanted to do was rule the universe".

As a Brit I find it very amusing that they had to cast the bad guy as a Brit and a camp one at that, but he did get the best lines and without him it would have been painfully boring. Also, the production team had little imagination in the developments of robotics making him so cumbersome.
