WOW !! I'm absolutely blown a way with the Bud Stewart lures, works of art indeed. Although I make fishing floats, I've never made lures as I thought you had to have the strength wires inside the form (something I can't do), but looking at Buds, are all the fittings external ? Tight Lines from England ;0)

One amazing collection you have! Inspires me to build an addition for my showcase lol! Can’t forget the all red billiard room with a giant stuffed camel… ha ha ha!! Seriously tho, truly is a remarkable collection! Collector myself.., and unfortunately after this plandemic, and these crazy times… I am considering selling off a load of my collectibles. Stumbled across your video, after seeing a small portion of your collection… Figured it wouldn’t hurt to offer…, as you may possibly be interested in some of my lures. Off my head, just a few you may be interested in: “Artistic Minnow” EXCELLENT!, “Harkauf”, “Kent Frog”, etc… Seen you were into fly poppers… Have a super nice “Bubbling bug”, ton of “Wilder digs, “Paw Paw” fly lures, and few dozen around the same time that I do not know… I certainly would normally not do something like this, as to send a message on here to a strangers vid out of the blue… But was compelled, and figured what tha’ hay! Shot in the dark… I collect a lot of different things! Honestly never had thought of parting with a single item… Till was left to my nephew, or hell was to freeze over lol. If you are interested tho… I will try and check on here ever so often.. Thank you very much for your time, Justin.

I came across an old collectable lure in perfect working order, but can't decide whether to clean it up (wash, polish, etc) or leave aged as is to maintain the antique character. What would others suggest?

What is holding these for display? Is there a piece of wire that goes across to hang the hooks on? If so, what type of wire?

Just some thick fishing line pulled very tight. It was probably about 100lb test.
