Seriously, you and Agry Joe have, by far, the best reviews anywhere on the internet. Especially when dealing with CoD, you see so many people who hate on this for no reason or refusing to give the game credit. But you dont care about that. You go into this game not expecting to love it or hate it and because of that you see that is a great game that has a ton of content and is very fun.

There have been games with regenerating health since a game called Hydlide in 1984. In shooting games Faceball 2000 for the SNES had it. Also in action games Wolverine: Adamantium Rage on SNES had it. Also, the first Halo didn't have regenerating health, it had recharging shields.

I probably didn't make use of the term 'arcade' properly, I meant it in the sense that the gameplay in CoD is very simplistic, and by twitch I meant you need to move and react fast, and the game is fast paced. How would you describe the CoD games?

I don't like the regenerating health system, I know it's normal to have in a multiplayer game, but it just makes it a bit too easy if you ask me

Exactly. It plays like the past one but adds more from a gameplay standpoint, such as in Blops2 with Stike Force (even though it could have been better), story that your action effect, new zombies, changing how killstreaks work, changing the class system and how things in it work. But seriously, lets stop debating this, we could probably keep going at this for hours!

GTA 3-Vice City also used same animations, lots of similar weapons ect, with the only real differences being location, characters, and story. Sound familiar? Just because a game is almost identical to past games in some aspects to games in the same series, but it doesnt mean the game doesnt deserve its score. Maybe it is overrated, but it is still an overall solid game, which is represented in the overall high scores.

"Twitch shooter", implies that the core game mechanic is based on quick reaction time and shooting. I'd say that suits Black Ops 2 quite well. "Arcade Style", implies that the game focuses on a simplified presentation and interface as well as rapid gratification. I'd say that fits too. I don't know what qualifies as "arcade" in your opinion, but to me, Blops is pretty much a modern day Operation Wolf.

For me the best FPS Games are the next: 1.-Turok 1,2,3 (N64) and Turok (Ps3 & Xbox360) 2.-Timesplitters 1,2,3 Future Perfect (Gamecube,Ps2) 3.-Killzone saga (1,2,3 Ps2 & Ps3)...This games are the difference on the Fpshooter Genre...

The problem I have had with Call of Duty (and a lot of modern day fps games) is the fact that melee is now a one button insta kill. It was always so much more fun to choose the melee weapon, rush up to the guy wielding the minigun or railgun and kill him with a 3-4 hit kill weapon as it was true humiliation. Games of late make melee no longer a means of humiliation but an actual viable option in combat, and when a shotgun doesnt insta kill but a knife does there is something wrong.

Say what you want about COD but he was mostly correct. COD4 WAS revolutionary. Online multiplayer was standard for FPS, COD4 was the first game that brought RPG elements into it. It gave players more incentives to keep on playing online to gain XP, level up and unlock new guns, it was also the first FPS with a killstreak system.

Not sure, but the last game I bought like that [MW3], I regretted. It was basically a rehash of the last one, the graphics were no better, the guns were for the most part the same. It was pretty much like a map pack DLC for an old game that I paid $65.00 for. Save your money for a game like Crysis or something.

um.... assassins creed 3 went forwards in time. If you know your history the medieval time period was from like 900 A.D. to around 14 to 1500 (depends on if you consider the Renaissance part of the medieval time period). The American Revolution was from 1776 to 1783.

This actually looks better. I was particularly angry with the last two installments ("MF3" and "Black Ops") because they really didn't take any risks. "Black Ops" had a sub-par campaign as did "MF3" (I heard, I hadn't really played the game). Many were dissapointed - as the franchise continually depended on online play and downloadable content. This looks interesting though.

Like I replied to the other guy, I never said COD was a bad game. I was stating that this video was going to envoke loads of comments over which cod is better and which system is superior. And I am entitled to my personal preference as to why I feel Wolfenstein is better than COD. Yes, graphics and gameplay are greatly improved in COD, but nothing can top Nazis screaming "Mein Leibe!" before they die.

Well considering World at War (the first game Treyarch included a Zombies mode in) came out in early November 2008, and Left 4 Dead 1 came out in late November 2008, I don't think you could call it a copy of L4D at all actually :)

Honestly, my time is spent in the theater mode. Like every time I play a fun and interesting match of multiplayer or Zombies, I hop into the theater mode and shoot the best moments as if I'm making a short action film. Some of my films include "The Demo Squad" and "Rumble in the Ruble". Good game but probably the weakest Call of Duty imo despite decent story and lots of options.

If u enjoy playing an arcade style twitch shooter then I would say yes, the campaign is very amusing and satisfying to play, with challenges if you're a completionist and different story outcomes and choices if replay value is your thing..the multiplayer is a bit all over the place but at least you can choose to play with humans or bots, there's also 'party games' which has some fun rules thrown into the mix to make it more enjoyable, and zombies is ok, but you will always die (endless survival)

This is Treyarch, who have become huge innovaters of COD and do try to make it fun and varied. Their storytelling is far better too. Please don't generalise the series like an ignorant hater. It's broken the mold formed by its predecessors, but it still maintains the same core gameplay aspect of running and gunning down bad guys. I wouldn't pay 60 dollars for it, but it is a solid shooter nonetheless.
