Its really hard to do but you can fly the Dodo in GTA3. I was able to fly around the city in it. The trick is you have to slightly press forward while taking off, this stops you from taking off too soon before you gain enough speed. The flying sucks too tis like a mixture of flying and gliding and its easy to spinout.

R2 R2 L1 R2 left down right up left down right up. I remember that cheat so well. Weird how this was the only one on PS2 that used R2 twice instead of R1. Of course, if anyone familiar with 4 and 5 try to go in the water you will die. I remember SA coming out and being blown away with the idea of swimming in the game.
@zzzhuh9 жыл бұрын
***** I can remember some from GTA V. But Vice City and SA both had the same cheats so it seemed to stick more. If 4 and 5 had used the same cheat patterns (instead of a phone... What were they thinking?) i'd probably be easier to remember.

***** Yea, 4 didn't leave a big impression on me. It might have been a huge step up from a graphics point of view, but the gameplay was a HUGE step down from SA/VC IMO. I did however like how the cars drove in that game over 5 tho.

Well, mostly because after I played Gta Vice City in 2006, San Andreas in 2008, Vice City Stories in 2009, Liberty City Stories in 2010, Gta IV in 2011, Gta Chinatown Wars and Gta III in 2012, and then Gta V of course in 2013. I've never tried Gta episodes of Liberty City, nor the classic 2D gtas, including Gta Advanced. I will one day try it.

Remember playing a demo of GTA1 at a friends house many years ago. Ended up letting me borrow tekken 1 and that game demo. Me and another friend took turns on the GTA1 demo and we forgot all about Tekken. That's how i fell in love with GTA. Even had to have my mom agree with a man over the phone to have it ordered since i was only like 11-12 when i got it. GTA3 of course i loved since day 1. Remember i had ordered it then over the phone from some store. Something i regularly did back then. Then a store here managed to get it before my copy arrived in the mail. A friend of mine who worked at the store had put it on their demo unit so i first experienced the game in the store. I remember stealing an ambulance and beating up someone repeatedly with a bat . After that i knew i couldn't past the entire weekend for my copy to arrive. Needless to say i bought GTA3 from my local store even though that meant back then i had to pay a fee of over 10$ to the place i originally ordered the game from. Didn't care. Beat out allot of frustration with the baseball bat in that game. Bought myself a PS2 slim 3 months ago and started PS2 collecting. Ive still kept my copy of GTA3 and its still just as much fun to play now.

For its time, this game was ground breaking. There was absolutely nothing like it. I remember hearing for the first time that you could jack a car, pick up a hooker, fuck her in said car, then run her over and just thinking BS, you can't do that on video game and is that even possible? Man was I wrong. This game was the first open world game of its time and set the trend for gaming, it showed what video games could be. It was raw, it was crazy it was unabated fun. With a great sound track, amazing controls and awesome graphics, it was the must have at the time and I'm sure helped the PS2 dominate in the early days. One of my top ten games of all time.

@bakerdoze9 жыл бұрын
+JULTAR100 It is fun, actually. Well, for a while. After playing the later GTA sequels, it does show its age in terms of gameplay, controls, and small inconveniences like lack of an autosave system, weapon wheel, GPS system, etc. And the later missions are near-impossible to beat. But it did have some damn good soundtracks. I mean, a Drum and Bass radio station? Only the PS1 games and games based in Liberty City can say they had that.

I got pretty good at flying the Dodo, it takes a little practice. Basically, NEVER pull up, you'll stall and crash. It'll gain altitude on its own. First, just try keeping it in the air a few times, fly it over the water to another island. Once you can do that, try making turns-- but you really gotta baby it. With just a little practice, I was making laps all around the city, and checking out the ghost town and everything. You can fly a tank, too, if you use the flying cars cheat. You rotate the turret so it's shooting backwards, and every time you fire, you'll give your tank more speed and momentum-- you can get that sucker WAY the hell up in the air. But it's less stable, too, so pretty much every flight will end with you getting stuck in a spin and crashing.

this game was mind blowing. I first played GTA2 with a free pc demo and was hooked. There was a UK website that was offering a free legit download of the original GTA except it would play an advertisement before you could play the game or something weird like that, and I did it from the US, it has no proxy or etc needed. These games were very addictive but they lacked the immersion that eventually came with this. A lot of my peers were looking forward to MGS2 or FFX or DMC, I was looking forward to this, and was not disappointed. I probably played about 14 hours the first day I got it and did maybe 5 story missions in that time lol.

I remember the first time I played this game. It was actually the PC version at a fiends birthday party. We were all taking turns playing trading off when we died, they would always enter the guns or tank cheat and go on a killing spree. I was baffled that they would want to kill people, I mean, I could literally take any car I wanted and drive it anywhere I wanted! One of my other friends recently told me that Liberty City supposedly had 4 million people so when he got GTA III he would go on rampages to see what would happen if he actually killed 4 million people in the game!

I was blown away when I first played this. One of the funniest things was me hitting an old lady and repeatedly kicking her. I was 20/21 when this came out. I don't remember why, but when I did that I laughed so hard I nearly got a 6 pack.

How to fly the plane. You want to get as much speed and momentum as you take off so push the stick forwards until your fast and then simply release the stick. Now all you have to do is keep pushing the nose forward simultaneously until eventually you won't even need to accelerate. Your welcome

Lol at the end epic fail dive at the wall then immediate crushing from a cop car for good measure. Almost looked like something off South Park
