Close to 100% correct from my perspective. Very good. Yes it gets repetitive at the end, at least in Halo they keep throwing in new things like the Flood etc. But I played this to the end and never really had a glitch (except something happened once and I reloaded and it was fine). I played it on first release, so I wonder whether they patched it and broke it, or you was just unlucky. What's other people's thoughts?

This was the only fair, good review of the game. Most of the other reviewers didn't even realise the mantel characters were annoying on purpose! I completely agree with this review and think that this game had so much potential to be amazing. It's a shame. I still have fun playing it though!

It's cool when you use nectar, the enemies look yellow so you can spot them easier. When you change sides you no longer have the nectar but the enemy IS yellow :D This nectar suit is really vulnerable... My PS3 crashed too at the first driving scene... Thank you, Mark, you gave me faith in this game again!

at 8:50, this can happen on a glitched game or an scratch on a cd, since the game skips everyhting that you cant see at the moment. so and the glitch makes it hide permanent

As far as the glitch with the ground and anything set on the ground missing, I found a similar glitch while playing one of the first levels of Pursuit force for the PSP. The only objects that were visible were the vehicles, and I was able to walk across the ground as well.

you know, i like this reviewer. i just realized how he was after the fact he says he doesnt read the game magazine reviews. he comes from a gamer perspective, not hype from the people who pay you what to say. he seems honest in his reviews, so i give him credit, unlike those ign reviewers who obviously read as they fuckin speak

I have completed it this week. None of that glitches are there anymore. But even then 70% is the max I can give. Still fun to play. nice review man

well in the last part Mark metioned that the flames from the flamethrowers needed a bit of improvement and do agree with that but otherwise i understand where you're coming from when you say you were disappointed.

Hey so I have an 80 gb ps3 and have played 5 games and have saved data for those and 3 gigs saved for playstation home. it says I have 54 gb of free space and I cant figure out where its all going lol, does the first update you have to install take up that much space? and ho wmany KB are in a MB?

Thanks for the different perspective on Haze. Whenever I get a PS3 (might've been today if I jumped on that $399 + $100 Wal-Mart gift card deal in time), I may give this one a look. I still don't think it's worth my $60 though

it depends on the game some games like install 1 or 2 gb, like Skate 2 and PoP, and some games install like 5 gb or more like GTA IV or DMC 4

I am such a big TimeSplitters fan (Or nerd xD) that I noticed that some of the sounds were re-used or very similar to some of the TimeSplitters sounds. Like the rocket launcher, for example.

R:FoM is indeed an amazing game. Have you played Uncharted? it's the most visually impressive game I've played to date. And it was the first game that made me realize that THIS is the next generation of gaming. I highly recommend it and I hope to see you review it someday.

I've had a glitch like that when I was playing the Uncharted demo. My whole PS3 was glitching up (audio was jerky and would repeat, it got REALLY slow) so possibly that could be a problem with the PS3. Also, I believe Free Radical rushed Haze out because they were about to go bankrupt. Wasn't this their last game? Idk. If only they could've made SWB3...too bad....

Ha! Same glitch happened on my PS3 - except after an hour or so of goofing around it crashed the console... Also heaps of pop-out (textures and objects losing detail) for some weird reason. Fun with 2-player co-op though.

Lemme do some simple math. Harddisk manufacturers designate the volume in decimal powers of bytes, that is 1 GB is 1*10^(3*3) bytes. Operating systems designate in binary powers, so 1 G or 1 GiB (by new ISO standard) is 1*2^(3*10) bytes. 55 GiB turns out to be more than 59GB, so the whole OS and disk management (file allocation table) is just a few hundered megabytes at most. In short, harddisk manufacturers cheat you by roughly 7% by inventing their own measures.

A kilobyte is 1024 (or 2^10) bytes, megabyte 1024 kilobytes, gigabyte is 1024 megabytes. Unless you are a harddisk or optical media manufacturer. They use 1000 base instead of 1024 for everything. That made a roughly 2% difference with floppies, 5% with megabyte sized media, 7% with gigabyte sized. That's also the reason why a 4.7GB DVD only fits you 4.35G of data, your harddisk should fit roughly 74G of data.

Haze is one of the most fun games i have played in a very long time. I have been playing the 4-player co-op mode extremely often ever since the game came out and i never ´seem to get tired of it because its so damn fun to play. The deatchmatch stuff is also lots of fun. The reason many people hate this game so much seems to be because they want all games they buy to do a bunch of original stuff that you have never seen before but if its only a really fun game you want buy Haze.

@paulspydar i got that glitch too, at first i was like wtf cuz tehre was jsut patches of grass in air, then i blew up and my truck landed on solid ground. lasted like 15 seconds.

The red coats were designed to hide the blood, due to the nature of the fighting camo was not developed, however a special force called the green jackets were designed to be camoed. :D YAAAY HISTORY!

I was on the QA team for this game (sadly my only claim to fame) and all the bugs were found and logged, me and my brother were actually the people who 1st discovered the missing level glitch. Sadly Derick littlewood the project lead didnt seem to think they were that important and they got passed off as low priority, hence not fixed before the rushed release. Such a shame it had potential to of been a classic but too many bad decisions were made towards the end of development.

Game immediately reminds me on Chrome. Weapons look, sound and behave like in that game. Characters wardrobe, helicopters , etc. Yeah I'm pretty much convinced that programmers behind this game are same crew (or game engine) like in Chrome.

i sold this game to my friend and he hasnt played it. its basically brand new so im going to buy it back for £2. this remminded me of old FPS when the levels could be replayed over and over and the multiplayer had bots. good times :)

Yes, Hze has 4 player online coop and 2 offline coop.Also yes you can you can have a map full of bots. aND overal I give this game an 7.5 out of 10 or an 8/10 plus the game is long i think theres 12 missions each take an hour
