I played this as a REALLY little kid. or maybe that was world tour. I loved every second of it. it's awesome how there's a food item that helps one monster more than the rest. like the rhino looking thing get's more heath with salad than the rest. best sound track ever (at least on the n64)

Did you know that this game was actually planned as another arcade game, very few arcade cabinets or boards of the arcade version are around, but the arcade game was cancelled due to the decline of arcades and the arcade version is tough to find
@irpacynot14 жыл бұрын
@S7eVyNeL11n LOL Hardly. It uses an artistic approach more akin to many of the Neo Geo games (a la Metal Slug), as opposed to the average polygonal graphics of most games on N64. When you look back upon most of those games, trust me, this one holds up a lot better than most.

@Lawnboii That's part of his charm. He lulls you into thinking he's actually typed out a review of this game but in fact, he's holding up a clipboard right in front of him, wondering about the content he's trying to let loose for entertainment. But in fact, he's really reading the small minuscule text he'd typed out prior to the recording whilst also fooling himself into thinking that he's drunk and reading from anything and everything possible.

This was the first time Ralph had a tail in one of these games. I think it's better to get the PS1 version since you can play it on your PS3 or PS2 and it has some nice movie sequences that are missing on N64.
@dennett31614 жыл бұрын
@TheGenesisfan93 If you own a copy of the original game then it's legal-ish to own the rom and use it on an emulator. But only for older systems obviously. As for viruses, anytime you're on the net you can get a virus if you don't have protection, so it's only risky in the sensse that you have to download stuff. Also, since when has being illegal made things unpopular? Usually the inverse is true, particularly when it comes to games, film and music.

I remember playing Rampage World Tour on both the N64 and Gameboy, It was one of the more enjoyable games I remember from those days, a popular rental. I eventually disappeared from the store and was replaced with this game. We rented it of course and......me and my brothers were disappointed. We all wanted to play as the classic monsters, be couldn't. Stupid box art tricking us. Now that I'm older I want to try it again.

I prefer the N64 versions of Rampage World Tour and Rampage 2: Universal Tour because they have better controls than the PS1 versions! Unfortunately, the N64 versions don’t have FMV’s cutscenes due to the cartridge. Which is why the PS1 versions have FMV’s because they’re CD discs. The PlayStation version of this game also have exclusive music like the Asia, Europe, Area 51, Flachulas, and Alien themes. The Nintendo 64 version only uses the America music.
