its grate to see the masseys at the silage my father used to do contracting and he owned a 2680 that hauled silage with the redrock it lifted the silage with the double chop it did everything and now he regrets selling it cause the person who he sold it to got one season out of it and i think he forgot to but oil in it and it seized up now its sitting in a old yard rusted to shit i would love to buy it and send it to the place in england where they can do a rebuild on it and gift it back to him

Cyril Hanna this thing is gone way too far at this stage last time i saw it, it was rusted to shit, the engine was flooded, glass smashed, electronics totalled the one good thing about it is its dramone hitch and hes looking for like 600 euros. but that was like 3 years ago he probably sold it for scrap i'll look up your website anyway

Cyril Hanna i would love to buy it and just keep it until i have the money to do it and bring it to you guys my dads friend who has a scania knows top to bottom about 2680s he thought my dad how to maintain it he could haul it but im only 14 i could get it done up for his 60th or 70th birthday he would love to see it back in the field

Hi GM, Forgive the shortened name,. I have seen only one of your video’s but see you have a whole other lot of historic and otherwise interesting vids, so many thanks for the upload and I am about to start uploading all your great links I can find. I was probably not my local Farmer’s favourite kid, as I and I have to admit I pulled others into making Mazes through the local fields, of course we were just having great fun, never mind the poor ole farmer! I was a real short-arse so often could hear but not see the other kids and never heard of how to find one’s way by the sun you know. Nice to find another English? - Farm video, home produced are somewhat swamped by the millions of US and others, but I am on a run and am so pleased I have found some home grown farming machines! what is the difference between single chop and double chop silage

Nothing. A single chop is the harvester, usually only cuts 5 something foot wide. A double chop is bigger than a single chop, I think around 8 foot. Only difference is the width of cut :)
