Great Video Allistair C, It makes my heart warm to see tractors wearing blue and white and forage harvesters in yellow and Red, I wonder if anyone knew on this day that eventually all the tractors would be white and blue and the harvesters Yellow with red highlights but they would all have the New Holland Brand, and the Ford, County and Muir Hill Brands would be consigned to history, thanks for sharing

Lovely soundtrack before bed👌 when I was younger, get out of town and summer evenings would be a buzz of mostly straight piped 7810’s/7840’s and case/international XL’s.

Cracking video taking me back growing up in the 70s and 80s everyone around here running claas jag or jf fc 80 when tractors sounded proper lot of youngsters wouldn't know what a clutch and crash gearbox are and you knew where people were by the smoke in the air ❤️👍🏴

Great video brought back many memories of making silage in the 90s our silage contractor Keith Mcroberts had a fleet of Muir Hills and 7810s and 7610s

Great event. I grew up with those very tractors cutting and running silage. A County 1174 on the front of a multi chop forage harvester and the trailers run by Ford 5000s. A bit later on I got to use the Muir Hill brand among many others. Wonderful old tractors. The emissions police wouldn't allow them today.
@irishlad8797 Жыл бұрын
The emition police would ignore all the massive jeeps outside the schools picking up 1 child and then off to meet the other yummy mummies in their massive gas guzzler jeeps for coffee But they are after the regular farmers trying to get through the work to feed their animals for the winter

Is it a original 1884 or is it built out of spare County parts? Looking good anyway :)

There's a series of videos about one similar being built from a TW35 belonging to Pat O'Sullivan by Paul O'Callaghan, check out his channel. Could be that one.
