I've played HC for like 2 years now and only have had 2 DQ and each time the disconnect protection had me out of combat by the time I could login back in...granted I drop a dumby both times. Point being it really isn't an issue and you should definitely try it if you like wow!

So, stealth. It is not an obligation to put yourself in a bad position with no escape route guys. Druid at 7:00 cornered himself surrounded by baddies and had no safe area cleared out to fight mobs in. Because he stealthed into a deep corner of a troll fortress. Stealth is just an option guys. I've seen a few other clips where people try to skip everything then have to run past all of those mobs to have any chance of escaping a sour situation. Don't do that. Just take your time and clear normally or unstealth at a mid point where you see enough room to clear mobs one at a time and make the space you need. Speaking of, druid at 10:55 did the same shit lol.

Patience is the way. On hardcore, you would be wise to slowly clear through the camp and get a sense how quickly it respawns, whether or not the individual mob types are randomized when they respawn at each location, and what happens when there is more than one person killing mobs at that camp. Many camps will respawn faster when more players are present, and some will even trigger instant respawns if a certain percentage of the mobs are killed elsewhere in the camp. All of this is double true with caves, because you have fewer ways out, and by nature you are always going to be dealing with respawns in the direction you came in from, so entering is a big commitment and you must keep in mind your exit strategy. Sometimes it's smart to go back and kill one of the respawns the moment it appears to maintain a clear safe zone in which you can keep fighting as the respawn wave moves forward, rather than have it reach you while you're fighting or drinking. And then FEAR enters the discussion. Always know the abilities of the mobs you're facing. An addon called ClassicBestiary can help with this by placing mob abilities on the mouseover tooltip. Being feared is almost always going to be a death sentence indoors if you can't break it, unless you're clearing and pulling mobs back from their spawn points so you have more space to work with if you do get feared. Same goes for using fear on enemies, it's always a gamble, but in a cave or building it is a conscious choice to pull more enemies in exchange for buying you some time.

The most common thing people do if they feel "griefed" is just report your name so you have to retype your name in. To everyone who suffers from these Instant DCs in various areas. Check your graphics card settings and manually set your maximum FPS to 120, depending on your graphics card. The VSync setting in WoW does NOT work correctly and leads to DC's. The small indie company Blizzard has failed to fix this problem, which has existed for years. Sad result for what is supposed to be a standard setting in a game.
