Classic HotRod Crashes/Highlights (Lightning, Stock Rods and Legends), Hednesford Raceway, 15/3/20

This was pretty brutal for what it was on paper. A smashfest Stock Rod final, Lee Wood's Viva gets wrecked, as does Andy Steward while lapping the field and the Lightning Rods have a wild opening heat. The Legends were easily the best behaved. Made the bangers look tame!

Crackin footage,id forgotten about this one . . . Some great looking Classics,hats off to all drivers,had some good success at Hedders,but also suffered alot of damage there . . . Racing is . . . . . Racing. 😆😆😆😆😆

That might be the last race we see for a while, given MSUKs action this afternoon :(. Its gonna be a looooong spring and summer, followed by a busy time packing some of it back in.

Is that the same Lee Wood of BTCC fame? Gutting to see those Classics smashed up so badly but then again they're racing hard, same would have happened back in the day. Sad to see for sure but would people rather watch them crawl around and fix the results like some other formulas?

I think quite a few black flags should have been handed out in some of those races , certainly not all race incidents.
