No seriously, when i try this with my 1998 XJR the alarm starts by opening the door.

​​@@hansmaulwurf3831That should only happen if you lock it by remote and then unlock it by key. If you lock by key (also double locking is possible, where you just literally lock it twice and it beeps) the alarm should not go off.
