Great stuff, I've got to do something similar with my BMW i3 conversion but luckily the i3 driveshafts are hollow so I got the mini ones turned down to fit inside.

Fantastic stuff. Did you arc weld that? If so what size rods did you use?

i used an everlast and tig welded this, with a 3/32 tungsten rod, i think i was using a grey or blue rod, not sure actually lol, and 3/32 filler material at about 145 amps,
