Get yourself an inline fuel filter and use braided fuel lines to hook up the pump to the tank and carb because of how close the manifold is to the fuel lines and use fuel line clamps on all the joints. Great video Tom cheers Rob

Tom they do a glass and chrome filter with 8mm tails and you can replace the filters in them try to get a measurement of the braided fule lines you require some auto shops do them to length but mini spares do lots of different sizes. Cheers Rob

progress :) always good. nearly got your fingers a few times with that screwdriver! use a 7mm socket to avoid stabbage, its also worthwhile at this stage just spinning your fan to make sure it clears everything, just loosen the alternator a touch should do the trick.

You are correct the outboard one is supply, inboard one is the exit, by the way just cut the rubber hose you have fitted. Also you don't need to remove the tappet cover, the hose will fit 😊

So as you stand facing the car. Fuel pipe from the tank goes into the right handside of the pump. The left hand side goes to the carb. Have a look at my engine removal part 2. It will give you a look of how it came out my car

Use a 7mm socket on jubilee clips as its much easier than a screw driver and safer because as the screw driver tens to slip and you could end up stabbing your self in the hand

yes, u will need a extra extra long screwdriver for that hose clip on the bottom of the radiator. I had one for that very purpose! very useful tool i say myself!

fuel feed in on the right and to the carb on the left. depending on what exhaust your fitting (3 branch) you may find it run very close to the fuel pipe.

Found this video while struggling with my own radiator and low and behold...my belt also looks weirdly unparallel so I will swap the spacer around, I also have my fan on backwards...all was reinstalled how I took it off so it seems the last person working on it hadn't a notion either...

I know this is somewhat out of date but hey ho. Tip for yer dude, use a 7mm socket to tighten your jubilee clips. You'll get much better purchase on them, and you won't make holes in your fingers. :-)

Great! =P .. yes it's doing well .. i'm in the process of putting together a new engine for the IMM this year, here in Portugal :-D .. you should come and visit =P by the way, the connection of the fuel line is (IN - side of radiator and OUT - side of the exhaust), but if you want my opinion, you should put an electric fuel pump ;)

on my mini the fuel line coming from the petrol tank comes up and goes onto the fuel pump on the rad side, then the other end it goes up to your carburettor. Hope this helps

My fuel line goes on the opposite side to what you said mine goes into the fuel pump on the clutch side and on the radiator side my fuel line goes to my carb, hope this helps
