I feel like an NA B series is a lot slower than what you're thinking. The original car only weigh like 300kg more than the Mini, and half of the kids with them gut them. At one point in the video they called this a J-spec Mini, and I have no problem with that. It's correct. JDM has a very specific meaning and it doesn't mean "car sold for the Japanese market," it means "for the Japanese domestic market by a Japanese domestic manufacturer." Otherwise, it's JIM, for their import market.

The only way you're getting a 2jz mini is if you had more money than sense. You'd have to build a tube frame RWD pseudo replica. Even if you could modify a real mini to fit a 2JZ, the weight on, and power going, to the front wheels would ruin any chance of it ever driving properly. Infact, you'd basically have to build a new chassis to have a show. I did a quick google and there appears to be a few people claiming to have RWD minis, but they're using bike engines etc rather than a 3l straight 6.

You know the classic mini uses a whack fluid filled, rubber cone with springs and valve type suspension right? It's stiff for what it is, but the suspension is garbage compared to modern equipment. A better, modern suspension + tubular engine cross members + tubular control arms ... please, it's probably going to be a crazy improvement, lol. Weight isn't everything. The mini is still designed in the 50's in a fucking shed. Split port intake with shared injectors??? Son, this is a bonkers good upgrade. Take the weight if there is any, this is WAY better.

This is such an odd episode, because Moog has these very brief moments during when he's discussing how they've got to cut into the sheet-metal of the car where you can see in his eyes that it's almost like he realizes he's having to butcher what was a perfect car before he decided he needed more power, and since the entire car is apart (having spent what was almost certainly several hours if not a few days of both his/Marty's as well as the other guys' time), there's really no turning back at this point. I haven't seen the other videos yet, so who knows, I'm sure he's going to love the final product. But in this video, he's definitely got a few moments where he's trying to hide that he's feeling overwhelmed at chopping up a car that's special to him.

Elxmo Perhaps stock, but I've heard their potential is top-notch and they have like zero design weaknesses. Heads can easily be worked over and stuffed with new cams to flow a ton more, for instance. Elxmo Good info. Head flow isn't as important on turbo cars, however, as boost is a game-changer and can be cranked up with proper turbo selection. That's actually one of the reasons Honda heads flow so well and rev so high - they have to in pursuit of good power, being N/A.

You have a 3 post mount from a dc2 integra. You need a 2 post mount meant for a b16a2 from a usdm 99-00 civic si OR you need to simply change the post itself to an integra type r post mount from a dc2 integra

Put the Mini's engine (with supercharger) on a cart, or a small buggy. Make a Mini Buggy ;) use that engine plz.
