Another great educational video. As I've said before I'm amazed at the tolerances that you modern tuners work to. Back in the day we used what you'd no doubt call guesswork, I'd like to call it experience! It seemed to work. It was amazing what those old boys could do, one chap that I worked with reckoned that he could measure to a quarter of a sixtyforth with a steel rule, us youngsters didn't dare change him! Interesting that you don't use gaskets, we didn't have any choice way back then just used red hematite as a sealant. By the way I think that you're getting newtons and ftpounds muddled in places. Keep up the good work.

ya I moved away from gaskets to this much stronger bonding and sealing PU. it works really well and seems to last quite a while. Yes I try as much as possible to bring my machining and engineering experience in to everything I do as it gives me piece of mind
