Here it is, the new project Mini. Found on E-bay but I lost the auction only to later find the higher bidder messed the seller around so it was offered to the next highest bidder...... Me. The Mini is a 1997 Rover Cooper MPI and has been off the road in a garage since 2007! It's what some might call a barn find.
In this update strip the front end completely then cut it out including the wings, front panel, A panels flitch panels and scuttle panels. In the process I remove the dash and top dash rail.

Id leave the old front end of Sprout as it is. The patina on it looks good

I've been doing a bit of a angle grinding this week. Once or twice it tried to jump when cutting metal but i held onto the secondary grip. Your other video is the reason why.

Yeah but at £20 for a complete new grinder I thought I might as well just buy a new one. The cable was looking a bit worse for wear too

I had to replace both sides, made the panels up myself, took ages to fix. Great video

@@classicminiworkshop Tucked it onto a STANDARD round front..and the rear still uses the STANDARD (twin ) Tanks (SPI internal Pump ) and room for the SPARE 13" wheel and Battery...
