I remember back in the day when I first got into yugioh playing the GBA games, there was one card I always loved which was Summoned Skull, it confused me why people preferred Dark Magician when Skull was a one tribute monster with the same attack. Also his design was fucking raw!

My favorite old card has to be Exodia. First card I ever had, got it from a friend who said it was useless. Then I watched the anime randomly and recognized that was my card. So I went on a schoolyard spanning journey to see if anyone else had a piece they would trade. Still have them framed on my wall. They're all damaged and bent to hell but it feels special that I had to track them down in a way.

@Rhymestly: they could be other issue, like for example in casual match someone can be unaware that pot of greed is unbanned, and he would report you for using cheating device because he is unaware that it is off the banned list for that mode, and then later after already reporting you he relize and knows that it is off the banned list for that particular mode, and if he does not care, he will not go to the Master duel website and contact konami to tell them that he accidently reprort someone for using cheating device because he was unaware that pot of greed was off the banned list for that mode.

Honestly, my favorite classic card is Blue-Eyes White Dragon. I've always loved that card regardless of how powerful it is, the dragon itself is just beautiful, not to mention Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon which amazed me when I first saw it and when I started playing yu-gi-oh my goal was to summon that card at least once per duel.

My favorite old school card is actually a really weird one. Performance of sword, crappy ritual monster. I worked at target when I was a kid as a side thing, since my mom was there as manager. All I really did was bring the cashier's money when they needed it. One day a customer complains saying that target is abusing labor laws because I'm working for them as a kid and not getting paid. My mom's boss told my mom "get him something in the store to compensate for helping" so I looked around and found the original yugi and kaiba structure decks. I grabbed the yugi deck and a booster pack and asked if I can have these. My mom was forced to buy them or get fired from target. I get home, I open the booster pack and right there, the very first card I got was performance of sword. It's also why I'm a big fan of rituals because of that moment. Yeah I'm old, deal with it

cant see anyone else mentioning it so i may aswell, they confirmed the 'unlimited' duel room is actually just allowing you to use cards that have been banned in master duel (vfd, gossip, io etc) not just any banned card ever. so you wont be able to use pot of greed and stuff, its probably because konami doesnt want to have top spend money having people code cards that arent playable lol

It’s such a neat little monster because it’s entire effect was running three, activating the first one, and using the other two to fuse into a 2800 vanilla beat stick. Favourite card of all time for me has to be Elemental Hero Flame Wingman since he was my introduction to YGO. The Crowler vs Jaden battle at the start of GX where the Skyscraper field just bursts from the ground and Wingman stands atop the tallest building, staring down the Golem with Jaden’s theme song playing. That’s what made me think “Card games are actually cool.”

My favorite old time yugioh card was relinquished. nimble momonga could summon 2 other copies from the deck if destroyed and i could very easily just summon relinquished that way, for pretty much free, and it helped just tear through anything my opponent had. carried me so many times

Rhymestyle: your playing goat format so Chaos emperor dragon- envoy of the end is banned in goat format, only because it is its pre-errata effect, where it deal effect damage for every card send to the graveyard and not just the opponent, and your not lock from activating card effect, and also you could monster reborn him after summoned properly, so if they put the goat format banned list in the update for casual match, and they leave the new errata for Chaos emperor dragon- envoy of the end, he may not be banned in goat format.
