It really is truly a lot easier to just post the measurements somewhere on the screen as you're doing it so that people don't have to stop the video search for what you're measurements and then proceed from there. I just think it would have been a lot better considering you had absolutely fabulous looking base only I didn't know how much was in it so moving on.......

I made these today & my 4th grade teacher wife came dragging in from a meeting after school mumbling things like, "I think my head is going to explode." I told her to close her eyes & say ahhh then shoved a recently cooled cookie in her mouth and she perked up & melted at the same time with a "mmmmmm." As she was on her third cookie after supper, she said, "I don't want you to get a big ego, but... You're a god!" LOL. I never knew such an easy recipe was all it took to become deity. Heheh. Tnx.

Just made them and they taste amazing! You were absolutely right about the inside being chewy but the cookie was slightly crispy on the outside. To all of those complaining about there being no measurements, chill and click the link in the description. It takes you to his blog where this same video exists plus the measurements and ingredients are listed out. I do have to say it was a hassle to do the hashtag on the cookies because even after cooling in the fridge, my dough still stuck to my fork way too much and i messed up so many cookies because of that :( great recipe nonetheless!

If you're experienced at making peanut butter cookies using a teaspoon should be no problem making the cookies I have been making peanut butter cookies since I was 6 years old. Thank you Food Wishes I lost my recipe and used yours just by using the list of ingredients though I did use the microwave to melt the butter only in for a minute the cookies turned out great :) I love peanut butter cookies and always make than when I want something sweet :) For those that are just starting to make the peanut butter cookies, this is a great recipe best one I have used anyway even if you do not have baking soda or powder this one will still taste good. You can only be missing one of those 2 nothing else if you do not have at least one of those you can not make it. I am passing down my experience of making them.

@@highlandergirl59 you’re so lucky getting that wisdom from your mother. Cooking is the one of the best ways to access one’s soul, let alone others.
@highlandergirl59 Жыл бұрын
@@thedrizzle899 Well the recipe was more Mom's but even she said I made them better than she did. Grandma always told me anything with sugar always half it from what the recipe says. So from there I learned the rest because some times mom had all the ingrediance and some times she did not. So learning what has to be in the cookie and what can be left out was the thing I had to learn for those that after me would make them. Besides we were a huge peanut butter cookie eaters for a treat outside of peanut butter cups lol. But my cooking wisdom came from my Grandma more than my mom and school I took cooking classes when I was in High school. Yes food is a big thing in my family and if your gonna cook you need to learn to do it right :) xxx I was just lucky My Grandma taught me the biggest part of cooking and school taught me the rest. The best cook I think to learn from is always a grandma they been cooking for a long while and knows the ins and out of a recipe what you can use and do's and don'ts how to make it batter even. A recipe is just a staple the rest is up to the one using the recipe :) xxx.

There was an egg in there, but here's a trick: any time you see an egg in a chewy dough(like a cookie), tag out the egg for a mashed banana or a quarter-cup of applesauce. In a peanut butter cookie, a mashed banana makes a bunch of sense to me anyway.
