@@CarCraftAutoDetailing some observations, I've found Keramik to definitely be geared for meduim to hard paint, definitely not soft. S30+ normally does great for me on softer paint.However, on the last black car I did with softer paint, it didn't finish good at all. Just goes to show how every paint system reacts differently, even if they're in the same hardness range. Does the Mark III seem more powerful?

Scary when I saw the paint come off with your first pass at correcting (Rupes yellow pad and compound) but you eventually found a great combination. I really like your patience in finding the right combination because it is easy to remove swirls but hard to do so with the least amount of paint removal.

Another fantastic video! Very well done! Working with these super soft paints is a real challenge. We have noticed that even the resedue-wipedown with the wrong microfiber-towel can be a real challenge to avoid new swirls. On these super soft paints we therefore prefer as the last stage just a gentle water polish with the White Rupes pad. The resedue can be taken away with a damp microfiber towel which makes a big difference compared to a dry towel. What are your thoughts? Cheers from NY

Hey Sandro, really nice work as usual. Not only the detail but the footage and all the info it's really top class . Thank you for all the effort you put into it. Regarding pad management, in general, when do you know it's time to change pads? I'm trying to figure out how many of each pads I should consider having in my cabinet and struggling a bit to know when it's time to swap pads (or wet clean?) and how to "read" the pad contamination so I can adapt to different paint (not going single syage for now). I do blow out the pads with compressed air after each set. I'm using EX-603 / EX-620 machines along with Rupes and Lake Country pads has you reviewed them so good and all I can say, after comparing to others borrowed from friends and rented, I couldn't be more happy with the choice! Hope everything gets to normal over there soon. Cheers from Portugal mate!
@CarCraftAutoDetailing3 жыл бұрын
Thanks and it’s my pleasure! I generally like to work with three pads at a time for each machine, blow them out after each set and then switch and rotate the pads after every few sets so they cool down. It’s time to wash the pads when they get overloaded with product and residue so they will start to looking gunked up, start running hotter, even start dusting more and getting flatter which are signs to look out for

I understand your point Sandro at the 12:00 min mark...but there may come a time where demand for upper tier work may arise consistently....and you will be able to have 48 upper tier jobs per year...allowing 4 weeks holiday...1 job per week.... The European market is probably much better than the Aussie market for high tier work...but it does appear "White details" has his 48 high tier jobs per year....no longer really does low tier work...i think charging $3000 pounds per weekly per detail car....with cars coming trucked in all from UK and Europe Wouldn't want to close the lower tiers as you mentioned ..as it pays the bills....but I'm sure it's every high end detailers goal to have 48 high tier / 1 week/ cars per year....

I have S20 Black and those pads so hope to give mum's car a tidy up as the GYeon Can Coat is over 12 months old and lost some of its glitz although on the side panels the water still beads like mad. So as I don't have and S30 but have Precision, Finnesee, Menzerna 3500 what would your suggestion be to finish off after S20 on the HQ's Paint???? I have HDO BLUE and Orange pads plus LC black finishing pad so any pointers from your experience would be great.

You can imagine my anxiety. To date I am yet to find a light that can mimic this.Great video and my favourite channel. Cheers
