Very nice. I have never seen a manual brake GTA before. I don't believe GT packages had all drum manual brakes (in 67 Mustang disc were only power) A Marty report would sort that out though. The "hypo" engine was a "k" code. The "a" code was a optional 225 Hp 4v 289. The tail light piece is rare indeed, it was an optional piece you could only get after optioning the exterior chrome package. There are aftermarket "finned aluminum panels" out there but this appears original as evident on the upper right area. You'll see a very slight dimple were one of the attaching studs has pulled over time. Top notch rest. 2 thumbs up

+Joe Mamma Correct on the brakes - all GT (or GTA) for '67 had front disc and power assist. However you could get a '67 Cougar with manual discs.

i don't think its original at all the GTA was only built ONLY in 67 the A on the GTA standing for automatic they also have disk brakes how do i know ( i own one ) don't believe me 7RO1A148158 check my numbers out its a nice fake but its a fake
