I really hate the dental system here in Australia, the emergency root canal cost me $3000 and guess what? Didn’t include the cost of the crown which was another $2500 on top! I was broke so never got the crown, as a result 4 years later the tooth had to come out. Do dentists really need another new audi Q7 and a bigger home ? Please make dental affordable

Have you ever stopped to wonder how much time and money he invested in university? While many were at the party he was studying and practicing. And don't forget that operating costs are not cheap. My bottom molar was done. They did a root canal, then put a temporary filling in. Well 5 years later, the temporary filling eroded away so i refilled it myself with a temporary filling i got at the pharmacy. When i filled the hole the tooth cracked. So i went to a new dentist and they offered to have a crown done or extract it. I told them to extract it. It's my last molar in the back so it won't be seen. I have 2 more days before this occurs. So it's advil and oragel until then.

Never had a root canal, and never will. I had my 2 second molars top left and right extracted, no problems eating etc. Now my first molar tooth #14 is infected, old cavity filling, tooth nerve is dying dentist said after tests, recommend a root canal, I told him NO, gonna get it extracted soon as well How did your extraction go?

@numerouno3521 It was not fun, lol The dentist said that teeth that have had root canals tend to be brittle and break during extractions. They gave me novicane, and he warned of pressure and cracking. Ugh. So it naturally broke, and he got the whole tooth out, but one little root remained in my gum. I asked for more novicane, I wasn't feeling pain, but I wanted to keep it that way. So after more novicane, he was digging for that piece of root. He said he may not be able to get it out, but he would advise me on what to do if he couldn't. Well, he got it. Sewed it up. All in all It took about 45 minutes to maybe an hour. Amoxocylin, 800mg ibuprofen. Eating was awful, ice cream for dinner on the 1st night. It's been about 5 days, and eating is back to normal. The area around it is still achy sometimes. I haven't had any teeth pulled since I was a little kid. The dentist was very attentive and informative and made sure I wasn't feeling pain. My hands were literally shaking the whole time. Lol

Root canals usually don’t last The procedure to do a root canal takes longer than an extraction Once you get an infection, abcesss etc., you won’t feel it as the nerves were removed, dentist will prescribe more antibiotics to “calm” the infection, if that doesn’t work, extraction is the only alternative, but if you get a scammy dentist, they may want to do a re root canal Some also say root canals are bad for the heart and systemic system, not sure about this, but I wouldn’t doubt it Basically what you are left with is a dead shell of a tooth 🦷 in your mouth, Not a good idea, extract the tooth and be done with it I got my tooth #14 top left molar extracted and I feel great, abcess was gone instantly as well, feel great @@seadragonpirate8195

Good Day Rose. You can go with the All Ceramic crown(Zirconia crown). Its the metal free crown and is going to be the better option if its in your budget. Hope that's helpful.

ЕСТЬ ОШИБКИ ! После пломбировки каналов делается рентген , котроль пломбировки ! 6 месяцев нужно ждать , для того чтобы повторно сделать снимок и убедиться ,что на корне зуба нет воспаления....и только потом можно ставить коронку !

Я тоже регулярно хожу к стоматологу, но дважды сталкивался с пульпитом быстрого течения. Конечно, не до такой степени, но тоже вскрывали полость зуба, пломбировали и чистили каналы. Думаю, генетика тоже играет не последнюю роль

Gold last much longer, in the back like this no one would see it. The White crowns barely last 10 years, gold can last over 50. Most dentists are out to screw you and keep you coming back so they dont like to use gold anymore
