Just think…somewhere in Auckland, an 8 year old Jonah Lonu was watching this, and idolising players like Dusty Hare and thinking, ‘One day that’ll be me!’

Im guessing the scottish tactic that day was to get the ball behind Dusty Hare, he was a tortoise :)

This was the days only public school boys got picked for England, boring boring England can't score a try we used to say, Wales and Scotland were more about player abilitie than there job, then along came Jerry Guscott and it all changed, 🏴🏴🏴

Rubbish. This was the year that Rory Underwood made his debut.

Absolute rot! Many if not most, went to grammar schools. Rory Underwood and Peter Winterbottom are the only two I'm sure were public schoolboys and perhaps one or two others might have been ( Nick Youngs and David Cooke). Don't forget there were 22 in the squad that season. Just reworking your comment might be a good idea.
