Classic TMNT + "Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Toy Reveals

During our tour of the Playmates Toys booth at Spring Fling 2024, we checked out the latest TMNT figures. This company has been making Turtles since the 80s, and they're continuing that tradition with the newest version of this franchise, as well as a special figure set going back to day one. Check out the "Mutations Mix & Match" figures as well as some other characteres from the film and upcoming animated series on Nickelodeon, as well as a four-pack of the original Turtles done in the style of Eastman & Laird's original artwork.

Can't believe this is the first time Playmates Toys has made a line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures and not missed out on any character. They're really putting in the work on this new adaptation! Really love it. Ya'll remember when they just passed on so many characters that were popular? Ice Cream Kitty, the list goes on and on.

Those original sketch turtles look great! Except how come ever single time a toy company decides to colour the turtles weapons grip tap to match the bandana colour of each individual turtle, they never colour Donnies purples! Its like a conspiracy! Like Every. Single. Time! Leo will get blue grips for his swords, Raph gets red wraps for his sai's, Mikey with the orange and... ohh yeah fuck Donnie he can have grey or white wrapping, Total bullshit! Is it really to much to ask for some toy manufacturer to give Donnie some purple grip on his Bo Staff?! am I really asking to much?

The mix and match turtles look great. I was going to pass on the turtles themselves. But that most of them come with robot parts does make them more interesting. Mostly just love the three new robot designs, and that Rocksteady Bike is excellent.

Playmates still not doing more than 2 figures from the last ronin which was the exact same figure but in white!!! Nobody wants mutation figures🤷‍♂️ Although its good to see tmnt back in the spotlight this is still a Massive fail on their part🤦
