Is measuring pitch the same as measuring trebble and bass? If so would this plugin not produce the best results to get full range? Perhaps it depends on the music also. This could work best for pop and hiphop with 3 ranges?

I'll give you my 2 cents on a work around, and the best option. (Both require some software that will allow you to use an EQ): WORK-AROUND (probably most cases); A possible work around for that would be to utilize a Band-Pass EQ, on separate instances of the same track, and assign Sound Keys to each of those. Band-pass EQ filtering essentially is drawing a parabola around the specific frequency range you want. If the music isn't mastered with the purpose of very distinct sound, you won't really be able to do this as well, because transient sound will 'muddy' the frequency range. Clean masters are typical of pop , and modern rap, however with a lot of hip-hop they like to make great use of transient and background so it may be tough. BEST OPTION (difficult, possibly costly); If you can get the STEMs from the producer, or their management, you could split the song up into individual instruments and make separate instances of each of those, and you could go crazy with Sound Keys and have them each be very specific.

Collin Robert And no they are not. You'll want to measure amplitude of your audio file (convert audio to keyframes). Use the ease expression on those null layers with whichever effect you choose to link to make it react with the audio.

what set up do you have to where you are previewing your changes so fast? or do you cut out the render time for these tutorials?

There are some spots where render times are cut out. (Like at 11:56-ish, for example).
