IVARichards was better than a lot of modern players his power and classical stroke play is un matched and I liked watching:- I.Chappell, G.Chappell, A.Border, D.Boon, D.Jones, S.Waugh, M.Waugh, M.Slater, M.Hayden, D.Martyn, A.Gilchrist, M.Clarke, M.Hussey, D.Warner and of course S.Smith. Nothing like watching Vivian Richards play, the confidence, the threat, the power - he was the man, the master blaster; Fit & Strong his technique copied but unmatched. Had he played in modern times he would be the top paid player in the world and a champion in all forms. Wouldn’t it be nice to see a modern batsman with enough class and skill to where a cap again.
