Someone made a diorama with that as the holes were drilled out and made to look like it had rusted away. You have taken away all the work someone had done.

It's his model. If he wants to put it back to original, as new, condition, that's up to him. Personally, I would far rather see a model in fine condition than one that looks like it's ready for the rubbish bin.

The original screamed out for a post apocalyptic diorama. It was perfect for it. Shame to have wasted it really. The renovated job could have been any one of several off the shelf, out of the box kits .

I believe you made fake videos. You showed us the process from the end to the beginning. In other words, you are actually aging an already smooth model with some methods, but you fictionally show it in reverse. I suspected it before and now I am completely sure. Because it was not possible to make even the awning of this vehicle exactly the same.
