After over a year of owning my 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer it is finally time to start working on it. Day 1 and it's already shaping up to be my biggest project yet.

Wagoneers can be a big pain in the butt project…but they’re super cool! Happy to see another one get saved! This will be fun 🍿

You're absolutely right about that! Not my first attempt at a Waggy build but I plan to see this one through. Seems like I find more and more wrong with it every time I pull a bolt so it's taking much longer than I had hoped for. Should have an update on the progress soon!

Good timing- I have a classic Wagoneer I am finally getting around to working on myself. Hopefully you won't regret keeping the OEM drivetrain 😄

It's turning into a bigger project than I anticipated. I will have an update video out soon and the OEM drivetrain will be a big part of it.....

Fun to watch. I’m doing an LS swap in my 1987. Just too many issues with the tired old motor and the upgrade isn’t gonna cost me much more than rebuilding the old boat anchor. More power, more reliability and better mileage and easier maintenance. I’d like to see you do an LS swap on yours. It’d be nice to see you do it.

The AMC 360 has its issues and I will admit to considering an LS swap for it, but I prefer to keep things 'in the family' if possible. Time will tell and I will be addressing some of that in my next video for the Waggy.
